Columbia Children's Theatre Returns!!!!

 Our friends, The Columbia Children's Theatre, returned this year with their musical production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"!  Over 800 area school kids enjoyed morning shows before an evening community performance!  Always a great way to spend the early holiday season!!!!  A specail thank you to the South Carolina Arts Commission for helping to bring this program to our area!

 Bryan White, CMA, ACM, and Grammy award-winning country music artist, producer, and songwriter, made a stop at our Center on his acoustic tour!  He held a fan meet and greet, and talked with the audience about stories surrounding his hits!  Honored to have him and can't wait for him to return!!!!

Blues legend and SC Musicians Hall of Fame member Mac Arnold along with his band Plate Full 'O Blues, brought their fantasitic sound to the Hampton St. stage, September 13th!

 Over 85 local students presented "The Magical Land of Oz" to 4 packed shows in September 2025.  The non profit CCT has been performing at the Hampton ST. Auditorum for over 25 years!

 Grammy nominated WannaBeetles returned with their Boomer Jukebox show and had the place rocking out to hits from the 60's, 70's, and 80's!  Sip and Saddle provided sodas and specialty drinks!

Comedian Jon Reep

 Nationally known comedian Jon Reep visited the Colleton Civic Center , August, 8th.  Winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and best known for Dodge's "that thing got a hemi" campaign, all in attendance had a great time!!!!

Summerville Jazz Quartet

 The Summerville Jazz Quartet visted the Hampton St. Stage as a part of WHAM 2025!  The group put on a free afternoon of jazz standards for our community May 4th, 2025!

Glow Band's "Tribute to Our Southern Rock Heroes"

 The Hampton St. Auditorium was rocking to the sounds of Atlanta's "Glow Band", April 12th, 2025!  The audience was dancing and singing along to hits from The Eagles, Allman Brothers Band, Charlie Daniels, and others!

Boomer Broads Comedy

 The Boomer Broads, Leslie Norris Townsend, Sonya White, Michelle Krajecki, and Brinn Daniels visited the Colleton Civic Center,  March 28th.  The quartet of hysterical and fearless women are redefining comedy and causing audiences to "laugh their botox off"!

Pure Theatre presents "Septima"

Lowcountry African American Cultural Arts Festival 2025 Events

Charleston's Pure Theatre brought their amazing play, "Septima" for two shows.  A full house was in attendance for free school shows and a free evening community show.  Both shows educated, entertained, and inspired all who attended.

The LAACAF hosted events at the Center in February as part of their 2025 Black History Celebration.  Events included a quilt exhibit and The SC State Choir.
